Essentially the “Chief Dietitian” for children in 4,000 schools – and a mom herself – Margie leads a team of more than 60 dietitians who ensure students are fed great-tasting, nutritious meals at school. Her work extends to developing the strategic approach to child nutrition along with corporate social responsibility programs. Prior to joining Chartwells, Margie spent 12 years as a school foodservice director and taught foodservice management at the college and graduate levels. Margie is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Her expertise has been highlighted in national media outlets, including Women’s Health, Reader’s Digest, USA Today, Oxygen, and Runner’s World.
